Percival Mew Gull

One of the most famous English light racing planes of the 1930's.
On the 5th of Feburary 1939, Alex Henshaw left Gravesend in Kent in this tiny
monoplane, flew to Cape Town, turned around and flew back - landing back in
England after just 4 days 10 hours and 16 minutes since leaving Gravesend.
The aircraft fell into disrepair during and after the war until found in the
back of a shed in Blackpool. Painstakingly restored to pristine condidtion
in the 70's by Tim Storey G-AEXF is still flying today and in the summer of
2003 was shipped to the US to partake in the Reno air races -. The Aerographics
